  • A Bodice-Ripper

Well, seem to have caught up somehow.
As for Bonnie. The wedding is still on but Las Vegas is off. It's boring old Durham.
    Seems he's got parents.
Of course, it's escalated too. At first, it was no guests but now it's a cast of thousands and a d-jay.
I am feeling very smug and pleased with myself. Have just finished a short story. The assignment wasn't exactly a short story, the assignment was to write about sex!
Needless to say, no-one did it or if they did they weren't owning up to it. I mean, imagine having to read it out.
But for some time now I've been suspecting that perhaps I could write bodice-rippers. As in, I'd like too. I'd enjoy it.
    So I've written a sort of bodice-ripper but it's a short story.
    Oh, well, keeps me amused.

  • Newsflash

I would love to stay here blogging all night. I so would.
Life has been miserable since I got back to uni. Three essays and one film script to get in. I mean, I did start them over Xmas.... All I have done for a solid week is work and sleep and to be honest, I haven't slept much. Ended up with a ghastly cold because of it. And tonight's going to be another all-nighter and I wish I'd never thought of doing this rotten course. My post-modern essay was okay, I've completely mucked up the drama one 'cos I lost a handout which I needed to refer to and I should have done much more reading for this one I'm slogging away at now. As for film script - my peers all laughed and said it was very Catherine Cookson and/or bodice ripper. I wish, think of the dosh.....
Purpose of post. Bonnie had lovely Xmas with Durham. Long story short, she came down about midnight last night to announce she was engaged. By text but I suppose that's the modern way.
She's now looking at dresses on the Internet and talking about a Las Vegas wedding in the summer. She informed me that a two week holiday (for me, as guest) would only cost about £650! My reckoning is, if I'm going to her nuptials she can waive a few weeks rent.
    And the Devil made......
    theatre research essays.
