I read somewhere that if you think what you'd do with a lottery win, it shows your direction in life and what you should be aiming for.
What I'd like more than a lottery win?
Once I would have said a baby but that's out now.
I would bloody like an acting job. One part in some damn thing, that'd do.
Of late, I'm thinking maybe I'd like a relationship.
I'd even rather have my MA but I suppose that's something a lottery win could finance.
Plus did I mention my arthritis? What's a lottery win gonna do about that?

a showcase - it's strutting your stuff in a theatre, I suppose. 1 duologue, 1 monologue with lots of other actors doing the same. Casting directors/agents get invited and they might like you - or not. This forthcoming showcase is a bit of a trial run for a later bigger one, says our tutor.

First time I have heard of a duologue. Is this where you provide both voices, or two of you prepare a piece?

How do you manage it P?
I've never seen the film, so that makes two of us.

Lots of 'what ifs' and questions that can only be answered with knowledge.
As for treading the boards, you have to physically compete, as you know.
